moto g stylus - Link / Unlink Contacts

Your moto g stylus lets you organize your contacts based on your preference by merging the details of multiple entries or separating them.
The Contacts app uses an intelligent merge feature to combine contact info from various sources (e.g., Gmail™, Microsoft® Exchange, Facebook®, new entries, etc.). If contact info was joined in error, the info can be separated back into individual contacts.
  1. Open the
    Contacts app
    .
  2. Tap the
    Menu icon
     3-dot Menu icon then do one of the following:
    • To link a contact:
      1. Tap
        Link
        .
        If a link has previously been created, tap
        View linked contacts
         then select
        ADD
        .
      2. Tap the contact to link then swipe the
        screen
         from the left edge to the right to return to the previous page.
    • To unlink a contact:
      1. Tap
        View linked contacts
        .
      2. Tap
        UNLINK
        .
      3. From the 'Unlink this contact?' prompt, tap
        UNLINK
         to confirm.
