Here's how to change the default mobile number used for cellular data on your dual SIM capable Pixel smartphone.

The following Pixel phones don't support Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS):

Pixel Phone by Google

Pixel 2 / 2XL

Pixel 3 / 3XL

Pixel 3a / 3aXL

Only one mobile number can receive calls / messages or use cellular data at a time.

Open the

Settings app

Navigate:

Network & Internet

SIMs

Tap the name of the SIM you would like to use (name varies; example Verizon eSIM).

This option is only available when both the physical SIM card and eSIM are activated.

Tap the

Use SIM switch

to turn on.

If a line is active on a Second Number price plan (talk and text), do not select the Second Number line for data use.
