OnePlus 8 5G UW - Activate / Set Up Device

Activate your OnePlus 8 5G UW to get started. This ensures you can make calls, send messages, and connect to the internet.
Ensure a 5G SIM is inserted in the device prior to powering on.
  1. Press and hold the
    Power button
     until the device begins to power on. Select your language then tap
    Start
    .
  2. Review and accept the Terms and Conditions then tap
    Agree
    .
  3. Confirm the correct phone number displays then tap
    Next
    .
  4. Connect to a Wi-Fi network.
  5. To copy apps and data, tap
    Next
     to transfer your content or tap
    Don't copy
    .
  6. Sign in to your Google™ account or create a new one.
  7. Turn privacy and security features on or off then tap
    Accept
    .
  8. Set up a screen lock and fingerprints or face recognition to secure your device.
  9. To allow Verizon Services to collect Location and App info, tap
    Accept
    .
  10. Tap
    Agree
     or
    Next
     to add additional storage with Verizon Cloud or secure your device with Verizon Protect.
  11. Follow the onscreen prompts to set up any additional features.
  12. Tap
    Start
     to complete the activation.
