OnePlus 8 5G UW - Uninstall Apps

Here's how to remove or delete apps if your OnePlus 8 5G UW is unresponsive, freezes or an app won't open.
  • Apps included with the Android™ operating system may not have an uninstall option.
    Some apps that can't be uninstalled can be disabled (disabling apps may cause related apps to malfunction).
  • If uninstalling an app update, ensure auto-update is disabled for the specified app until the issue is resolved with the developer.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings
     Settings icon >
    Apps
    & notifications
    .
  3. Tap
    See all XX apps
    .
  4. Locate then select the appropriate app.
    If system apps aren't visible, tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon (upper-right) >
    Show system apps
    .
  5. Perform one of the following:
    • To uninstall the app:
      1. Tap
        Uninstall
        .
      2. To confirm, tap
        OK
        .
    • To uninstall app updates:
      1. Tap the
        Menu icon
         Menu icon (upper-right).
      2. Tap
        Uninstall updates
        .
        This option is only available when an update has been installed.
      3. To confirm, tap
        OK
