OnePlus 8 5G UW - Turn GPS Location On / Off

GPS location access is needed by some apps on your OnePlus 8 5G UW to provide turn-by-turn directions or share your location, but can be turned off to save battery life.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Location
    .
  3. Tap the
    Use Location switch
     to turn on or off.
    If presented, review the Location consent disclaimer then tap
    Agree
    .
  4. If preferred, tap
    Advanced
    , tap
    Google Location Accuracy
     then tap the
    Improve Location Accuracy switch
     to turn on or off.
