OnePlus 8 5G UW - Change Network Mode

If your OnePlus 8 5G UW drops calls due to being near a network border, locking onto a specific network can help; however, roaming charges may apply.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Wi-Fi & Network
    SIM & Network
    Network Mode
    .
  3. Tap the
    Chose automatically switch
     to turn on or off.
    This setting is turned on by default and should only be turned off if needed. Turning off this setting may impact your service.
    If the 'Choose automatically' setting is turned off, follow the onscreen prompts to select an available network.
