Manage Hotspot Settings

Turn on the hotspot feature for your Pixel 4a to share mobile data with other devices. Set up the network name, password and security type to enhance security.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Network & internet
    Hotspot & tethering
    Wi-FI hotspot
    .
  3. Tap any of the following to configure:
    • Hotspot name
    • Security (e.g., None, WPA2-Personal, etc.)
    • Hotspot password
      1. Tap the
        Password field
         to remove the existing password.
      2. Enter the preferred password then tap
        OK
        .
  4. Tap
    Turn off hotspot automatically
     to turn on or off.
