Here's how to manage volume controls if your TCL TAB 8 doesn't vibrate or make sounds when receiving messages or other notifications.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Sound
    .
  3. Adjust any of the following by moving the
    Slider
     left or right:
    • Media volume
    • Alarm volume
    • Notification volume
