CTL Chromebook NL71CT-L - Clear Temporary Internet Files

Clearing temporary internet files on your CTL® Chromebook NL71CT-L can improve browser speed, free-up space, and help guard your online privacy from websites you’ve previously visited.
  1. Navigate:
    Chrome
    Settings
    .
  2. In the 'Privacy and security' section, tap or click
    Clear browsing data
    .
  3. Tap or click the
    Time range dropdown icon Dropdown menu
     then select the desired timeframe.
  4. Select from the following then tap or click
    Clear Data

    • Browsing history
      A listing of URLs (website addresses) that you like to visit.
    • Cookies and site data
      Some cookies contain customized preference and login information for past websites you like to visit. If you delete this, the website may prompt for this info again.
    • Cached images and files
      Your website visits content is stored on the device. The cache enables the browser to download only the content that has changed since the last time you went to a website. Since the browser only downloads changed content, pages are loaded faster.
  5. From the Advanced section, select any of the following then tap or click
