CTL Chromebook NL71CT-L - Enable / Disable / Modify SIM PIN

Here's how to change, enable or disable the SIM card lock code on your CTL Chromebook.
  • Enabling the SIM PIN locks the SIM card in your CTL® Chromebook NL71CT-L so it can't be used until the correct code is entered.
  • If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, refer to My Verizon Website - Locate the SIM PIN / PUK to obtain a new PIN Unblocking Key (PUK).
  1. Navigate:
    Launcher Launcher
    Settings
    Mobile Data
    .
  2. Tap or click the 'Enable SIM card locking (require PIN to use mobile data)'
    switch
    to turn on On indicator or off Off indicator.
    To change your SIM PIN, ensure the switch is turned on then do the following:
    1. Next to 'Enable SIM card locking (require PIN to use mobile data)' tap or click
      Change PIN
      .
    2. Enter the old PIN, the new PIN, and re-enter the new PIN, then tap or click
      Change
      .
      The default SIM PIN is 1111.
      Change SIM PIN
  3. Enter the current SIM PIN then tap or click
    Enter
