Here's how to set up, change or disable the screen lock option (e.g., PIN, pattern, etc.) for your Fossil Gen 5 LTE Smartwatch.
Ensure the software on your Fossil Gen 5 LTE Smartwatch is up to date as the steps below apply to the most recent version.
  1. From the watch screen, press the
    Power / Home button
     to open the apps screen.
    Power Home button
  2. Navigate:
    Settings
    Personalization
    Screen lock
    .
    If prompted, enter the current pattern, PIN or password.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Set up Pattern
      1. Tap
        Pattern
        .
      2. Draw an unlock pattern that connects at least 4 dots.
      3. Draw the same pattern again to confirm.
    • Set up PIN
      1. Tap
        PIN
        .
      2. At the 'Choose your screen lock pin' screen, tap the
        Next icon
         Continue icon to continue or the
        Cancel icon
         Cancel icon to cancel.
      3. Enter a numeric PIN at least 4 digits in length, then tap the
        Done icon
         Done icon.
      4. Re-enter the numeric PIN to confirm.
    • Set up Password
      1. Tap
        Password
        .
      2. At the 'Choose your screen lock password' screen, tap the
        Next icon
         to continue or the
        Cancel icon
         to cancel.
      3. Enter a password at least 4 characters in length, then tap the
        Done icon
        .
      4. Re-enter password to confirm.
    • Disable Screen Lock
      1. Tap
        None
        .
      2. Tap the
        Checkmark icon
         to confirm or the
        Cancel icon
         to cancel.
