Here's how to set up and remove facial recognition on your Nokia 8 V 5G UW.

Ensure a secure screen lock type has been set up.

Open the

Settings app

Navigate:

Security

Face unlock

Enter the current PIN, password, or pattern.

Do any of the following:

For first-time setup:

Tap

Set up face unlock

To continue, review the instructions then tap

Start

Align your face within the circle then follow the onscreen prompts until the process is complete.

Tap

Done

To remove face data:

Tap

Delete face data
