Here's how to restart your Fossil Gen 5 LTE Smartwatch if it crashes or resets, freezes or runs slowly.

  1. From the watch screen, press and hold the
    Power / Home button
     until the options menu appears, then release.
    If the device is unresponsive or frozen, you can follow the alternate method to perform a reset.
  2. From the options screen, tap
    Restart
    .
You can also restart the device by doing the following:
  1. Press the
    Power / Home button
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Settings
    System
    .
  3. Tap
    Restart
    .
  4. From the 'Restart, Are you sure?' screen, tap the
    Done icon
     to confirm.
    To cancel, tap the
    Cancel icon
    .
  1. Press and hold the
    Power / Home button
     for approximately 7 seconds or until the watch power cycles.
