Kyocera DuraForce Ultra 5G UW - Activate / Set Up Device

Activate your Kyocera DuraForce Ultra 5G UW to get started. This ensures you can make calls, send messages, and connect to the internet.
Ensure a 5G SIM card is inserted in the device prior to powering on.
  1. Press and hold the
    Power button
     until the device begins to power on. Select your language then tap
    Start
    .
  2. Confirm the correct phone number displays then tap
    Next
    .
  3. Connect to a Wi-Fi network.
  4. To copy apps and data, tap

     to transfer your content or tap

  5. Sign in to your Google™ account or create a new one.
  6. Follow the onscreen prompts to review and accept the Google Services options (e.g., Backup, Location, etc.).
  7. Set up a screen lock and face or fingerprint recognition to secure your device.
  8. Review and accept the Google Assistant options.
  9. To allow Verizon Services to collect Location and App info, tap
    Accept

  10. Tap
    Agree
     or

     to add additional storage with Verizon Cloud or secure your device with Verizon Protect.
  11. Tap
    Got it
     to complete the activation.
