Samsung Galaxy A02s - Power Up in Safe Mode

Safe mode is a diagnostic state on your Galaxy A02s that only runs system apps so you can isolate if a third-party app is causing freezing or slowness.
  1. With the device powered off, press and hold the
    Power / Side button
     until the device vibrates and the 'Samsung Galaxy A02s' screen appears then release.
    An alternate method is available if the device can be powered on and is responsive
  2. With 'Samsung Galaxy A02s' still on screen, press and hold the
    Volume down button
    .
    Wait 2-4 seconds after the 'Samsung Galaxy A02s' screen appears before pressing the Volume Down button or the device may not start in Safe mode.
  3. Continue to hold the
    Volume down button
     until 'Safe mode' appears in the lower-left of the unlock or Home screen then release.
    This may take up to 45 seconds.
