MOTO G PLAY (2021) - Change Network Mode

If your moto g play (2021) drops calls due to being near a network border, locking onto a specific network can help; however, roaming charges may apply.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Network & internet
    Mobile Network
    Advanced
    .
    The network displays Verizon.
  3. If you're having trouble with your connection, do the following to manually select a carrier:
    1. Tap the
      Automatically select network switch
       to turn off.
      This setting is turned on by default and should only be turned off if needed. Turning off this setting may impact your service.
    2. Select a carrier.
      It may require as many as 6 registration attempts with that carrier before to successful registration.
