MOTO G PLAY (2021) - Add / Remove Fingerprint Recognition

Here's how to set up and manage fingerprint recognition to unlock your moto g play (2021).
For the fingerprint scanner to operate, hands must be clean and moisture-free.
  2. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Security
    Fingerprint
    .
  3. Enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
  4. Perform one of the following:
    • First Time Setup
      1. Review the warning message, then tap
        Set up
        .
      2. Place your finger on the
        sensor
         (on back of device; below camera lens) until it vibrates then lift it and repeat this step until the process is complete.
      3. Tap
        Done
        .
    • Add More Fingerprints
      1. Tap
        Add fingerprint
        .
        Up to 5 fingerprints can be registered on the device.
      2. Place your finger on the
        sensor
         until it vibrates then lift it and repeat this step until the process is complete.
      3. Tap
        Done
        .
    • Remove Fingerprint(s)
      1. Tap the
        Delete icon
         Delete icon then tap
        Delete
        .
      2. If presented with 'Remove all fingerprints?', tap
        Yes, remove
         if desired.
