MOTOROLA ONE 5G UW ACE - Manage RTT Settings

Here's how to use the real-time text (RTT) feature on your Motorola one 5G UW ace.
Real-time text (RTT) is text transmitted instantly as it is typed or created. Recipients can immediately read the message while it is being written, without waiting or the need for an additional device.

  1. From a Home screen, tap the
    Phone icon
    Phone icon (lower-left).
    If unavailable, swipe up from the middle to display all apps then tap
    Phone
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Menu icon Menu
    Settings
    Accessibility
    .
  3. Tap
    Real Time Text (RTT) Call
    then tap to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
    If prompted with a 'No Video Calls or Call Merging' message, tap
    OK
    to accept.
    When RTT is enabled on both devices no audio is heard on the call. If you aren't hearing audio make sure RTT is turned off.
  4. Tap the
    Back arrow icon
    back arrow (upper-left) several times to return to the calling screen.
  1. With RTT enabled, from a Home screen, tap the
    Phone icon
    Phone icon.
    If unavailable, swipe up from the middle to display all apps then tap
    Phone
    .
  2. Tap the
    RTT call icon
    RTT icon next to the contact you want to call.
    To dial a number, tap the
    Keypad icon
    Keypad icon, dial the number then tap the
    RTT icon
    RTT call icon.
    Once the call connects, the RTT screen displays.

  1. If RTT is turned off, while on a call, tap the
    Menu icon
    Menu icon then tap
    Show RTT Keyboard
    .

End an RTT Call

  1. While on a call, tap the
    End icon
    (upper-left) to end the call.
