Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite - Manage Hotspot Settings

Here's how to configure the hotspot settings (e.g., password, network name, timeout settings, etc.) on your Galaxy Tab A7 Lite.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    Mobile Hotspot and Tethering
    Mobile Hotspot
    .
  3. Tap the Network name then edit any of the following:
    • Network name
    • Password
      The new password must be entered on the connecting device.
      1. Tap the Password field to remove the existing password.
      2. Enter the password then tap
        Save
        .
    • Security (e.g., Open, WPA2-Personal, etc.)
    • Band (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz preferred)
  4. Tap
    Save
    .
  5. Tap
    Advanced
    .
  6. Tap
    Turn off when no device connected for
     then select an option (e.g., 5 minutes, 60 minutes, etc.).
