Manage Hotspot SettingsTurn on the hotspot feature for your Galaxy Z Fold3 5G to share mobile data with other devices. Set up the network name, password and security type to enhance security.
Steps
- Open theSettings app.
- Navigate: .
- Tap any of the following options then edit as preferred:
- Network name
- Password
- Tap the Password field to remove the existing password.
- Enter the password then tapSave.
- Band (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz preferred)
- Security (e.g., Open, WPA2-Personal, etc.)
- TapAdvanced.
- Tap any options to turn on or off.
- TapTurn off when no device connected forthen select an option (e.g., Never timeout, 5 minutes, etc.).
- TapSave.
