Here's how to add / remove Home screen items (widgets, apps or folders) and set the wallpaper on your Galaxy Z Fold3 5G.
To customize the Home screen on your Galaxy Z Fold3 5G, do any of the following:

A shortcut to an individual contact or bookmark can only be added to a Home screen via a widget.
  1. From the Apps screen, touch and hold an app.
  2. Drag the shortcut to the top of the screen then drop it in the preferred Home screen.
    For the app to be successfully added, there must be sufficient space within the selected Home screen. If needed, additional Home screen panels may be added.
Widgets are mini-apps (e.g., weather, clock, calendar, etc.) that can be added to a Home screen. They aren't the same as shortcuts as they generally display info and take up more space than a single icon.
  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold an empty space.
  2. Tap
    Widgets
    (at the bottom).
  3. Tap the widget then tap
    Add
    .
    The widget is added to the screen automatically.
  4. Drag the widget to the preferred Home screen then release.
    For the widget to be successfully added, there must be sufficient space on the screen. If needed, additional Home screen panels may be added.
  5. If applicable, tap additional options to activate the widget.
    Options vary depending upon the type of widget.
  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold an app (e.g., Email, My Verizon, etc.).
  2. Drag the app on to another app (e.g., Gmail Call Filter, etc.) then release it.
    A folder containing the shortcuts is created (titled Unnamed Folder). To rename the folder:
    1. Tap the folder.
    2. Tap the
      Title bar
      (top of the open folder).
    3. Enter a name then tap
      Done
      .
    To remove a folder, drag the app(s) out of an existing folder until the folder disappears.
Removing an app from a Home screen uninstalls it from your device.
  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold the item (e.g., widget, apps, etc.).
  2. Tap
    Remove
    .
    Some pre-installed apps (e.g., Gmail, Gallery, etc.) can't be deleted from a Home screen.
  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold a blank area.
  2. Tap
    Wallpaper and style
    (lower-left).
  3. From the 'Wallpaper and style' screen, tap
    Change wallpapers
    then perform one of the following:
    • To use an existing wallpaper image:
      1. Tap any of the following:
        • Featured
        • Graphical
        • Colors
      2. Select a wallpaper image from the list.
      3. Select an option (Home screen, Lock screen, Lock and Home screens).
        Selected when a checkmark is present.
      4. Tap
        Next
        .
      5. Tap
        Done
        .
      6. If prompted, select an option to change the color palette.
      7. To confirm, tap
        Apply
        (at the bottom).
    • To use an image from your gallery:
      1. Tap
        Gallery
        .
        If prompted, review the location information message then tap
        Allow
        .
      2. Locate then select the preferred picture.
        Up to 15 images can be selected and displayed in a rotating slideshow.
      3. Select an option (Home screen, Lock screen, Lock and Home screens).
        Selected when a checkmark is present.
      4. Tap
        Next
        .
      5. Tap
        Done
        .
    • To use a Wallpaper service:
      This option only changes the lock screen wallpaper.
      1. Tap
        Wallpaper services
        .
      2. Tap
        Dynamic Lock screen
        or
        Samsung Global Goals
        .
        Enabled when a blue dot is present.
      3. Tap
        Apply
        .
      4. Select an image then tap
        Download
        .
        To only download when connected to Wi-Fi, tap (check)
        Using Wi-Fi only
