Samsung Galaxy Chromebook Go - Clear Temporary Internet Files
Clearing temporary internet files on your Galaxy Chromebook Go can improve browser speed, free-up space, and help guard your online privacy from websites you’ve previously visited.
- Open the Chrome™ browser.
- Click theMenu icon
then click
Settings. - In the 'Privacy and security' section, clickClear browsing data.
- Click theTime range dropdown icon
then select the desired timeframe:
- Last hour
- Last 24 hours
- Last 7 days
- Last 4 weeks
- All time
- Select from the following then clickCleardata:Selected when a checkmark is present.
- Browsing historyA listing of URLs (website addresses) that you like to visit.
- Cookies and site dataSome cookies contain customized preference and login information for past websites you like to visit. If you delete this, the website may prompt for this info again.
- Cached images and filesYour website visits content is stored on the device. The cache enables the browser to download only the content that has changed since the last time you went to a website. Since the browser only downloads changed content, pages are loaded faster.
- From the Advanced section, select any of the following then clickClear data:Selected when a checkmark is present.
- Browsing history
- Download history
- Cookies and other site
- Cached images and files
- Passwords and other sign-in data
- Autofill form data
- Site settings
- Hosted app data
