Remove eSIM Cellular Plan

If you previously activated an embedded SIM (eSIM) on your Apple® iPad®, follow these instructions to remove an unneeded profile or delete one to make room for a new eSIM.

Before you begin

The steps below apply to the following iPad models:
  • iPad Pro (2021) and newer models
  • iPad (7th generation, 8th generation, and 9th generation) activated on a business account.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Cellular
    .
  3. From the Cellular Plans section, tap the
    Info icon
     to the right of the plan you wish to remove.
  4. Tap
    Delete eSIM
    .
  5. To confirm, tap
    Delete
    .
    Deleting eSIM doesn't cancel your service. To cancel your service, contact your carrier.
