Here's how to remove or delete apps if your Windows 11 device is unresponsive, freezes or an app won't open.

Pre-installed apps (apps included with the Windows® 11 operating system) may not have an uninstall option.

If your device isn't running Windows 11, refer to the Windows 10 instructions.

From the Windows desktop, navigate:

Start

All apps

Locate the appropriate app then perform one of the following:

Touch and hold the app for approximately one second then release.

Right-click the app.

Select

Uninstall

From the Confirmation prompt, select

Uninstall
