TCL 30 V 5G - Change Network Mode

If your TCL 30 V 5G drops calls due to being near a network border, locking onto a specific network can help; however, roaming charges may apply.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Network & internet
    Mobile network
    Network Mode
    .
  3. View the Network.
    You can manually select an alternate carrier by turning the automatic setting off; follow these steps:
    1. Tap
      Choose automatically
       to turn off.
      This setting is turned on by default and should only be turned off if needed. Turning off this setting may impact your service.
    2. Choose a network from the Available networks list.
      It can take several minutes for the list to appear and, once selected, it may require as many as 6 attempts with that carrier before successful registration.
