Orbic Speed 5G - Insert / Remove SIM Card

Here's how to properly insert or remove a SIM card for your Orbic Speed 5G.
Instructions on inserting/removing your SIM can help with activation issues / errors, browser connection problems and a blank or frozen screen.
  • Don't attempt to insert or remove the SIM card while your Verizon Orbic®Speed 5G™ is powered on. Doing so may harm the SIM card and / or the device.
  • Don't bend or scratch your SIM card. Avoid exposing your SIM card to electricity, water or dirt.
  1. Ensure the device is powered off.
  2. Insert your fingers in the battery cover removal notch at the left edge of the battery cover, then lift and remove the battery cover. Set the cover aside.

  4. Press the SIM card lock down and pull the lock toward you.
  5. Insert or remove the SIM card from its slot.
    If inserting, ensure the gold contacts face the front of the device.

  6. Reinsert the card tray then press down to lock into place.
  8. Press the top edge of the back cover against the top edge of the device then snap the cover into place.
