Inseego MiFi X PRO 5G UW - MAC Filtering

Here's how to control MAC address access for your Inseego MiFi X PRO 5G UW.
  • MAC Filter is an advanced feature. Contact your local IT admin prior to altering this setting.
  • If turned on, only the devices added to the MAC address filter list can access your Inseego MiFi® X PRO 5G UW Primary Wi-Fi network.
  • This MAC filter has no effect on the guest Wi-Fi network or USB devices.
  2. From the Settings section, click the
    Navigation arrow
     Navigation arrow (lower-right) to open the Settings page.
  3. Click the
    Advanced tab
    , review the warning then click
    Continue
    .
  4. Click
    MAC Filter
     (located below the Advanced tab, to the right).
  5. Do any of the following:
    • Add a device to the list:
      By default, any device that has previously connected to the MiFi already appears in the list.
      1. Click
        Add new device
         (lower-left).
      2. Configure/enter the following:
        • Name
        • MAC Address
      3. Click
        Save Changes
         (lower-right).
    • Turn on MAC filtering:
      1. Select (check) the MAC Address Filter option located to the right of the corresponding device(s).
      2. Click
        Save Changes
         (lower-right).
      3. Tap the
        MAC Filter switch
         to turn on.
      4. Tap
        Confirm
        .
        The device's Wi-Fi restarts.
