SHARP ROUVO V - Manage Hotspot Settings

Here's how to configure the hotspot settings (e.g., password, network name, timeout settings, etc.) on your ROUVO V.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Network & Internet
    Hotspot & tethering
    Wi-Fi hotspot
    .
  3. From the Wi-Fi hotspot screen, configure the following as needed:
    • Hotspot name
    • Hotspot password
      Tap the Password field to remove the existing password, then enter the preferred password and tap
      OK
      .
      The new password must be entered on the connecting device.
    • Security (e.g., Open, WPA2/WPA3-Personal, etc.)
  4. Tap
    Advanced options
    .
  5. Tap
    Keep Wi-Fi Hotspot on
     then select the preferred option (Always, Turn off when idle for 5 min, etc.).
  6. Tap
    Set up Wi-Fi Hotspot
    .
  7. From the Setup Wi-Fi hotspot screen, tap the
    Select AP Band dropdown menu
     Dropdown menu then select 2.4 GHz Band or 5 GHz Band.
