Content Transfer App
Transfer Content with Your Apple iPhone

When upgrading to a new Apple® iPhone® or switching devices, the Verizon Content Transfer app makes moving your important data easy. Keep your photos, contacts, and more without hassle.

Before you begin

If you don't have the Content Transfer app on your phone, download it from the App Store.
Any contacts or media backed up to a cloud service (e.g., Verizon Cloud, iCloud® , Google Drive, etc.) aren't transferred by the Content Transfer process and must be restored to your device using that service.
Content Transfer only transfers contacts, media, etc. to the new phone that hasn't already been backed up to a cloud service. To restore content from a Verizon Cloud backup, refer to Verizon Cloud - Apple iPhone - Restore Content.
Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled on both phones (old and new).

Steps

  1. Open the
    Verizon Content Transfer app
    on both phones.
  2. On the old phone, tap
    Send from this device
    .
  3. On the new phone, tap
    Receive on this device
    .

    All Done
