Turning data on your Galaxy S23 / Galaxy S23+ / Galaxy S23 Ultra provides access to online services over the cellular network, while turning it off will impact that experience unless connected to Wi-Fi.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Connections
     then do any of the following:
    • To turn data on or off:
      1. Tap
        Data usage
        .
      2. Tap
        Mobile data
         to turn on or off.
    • To allow or deny roaming:
      Depending on your plan, enabling data roaming may cause roaming charges (e.g., when traveling internationally).
      1. Tap
        Mobile networks
        .
      2. Tap the
        Data Roaming Access switch
         to turn on or off.
      3. If prompted to allow data roaming, tap
        OK
         if you agree.
