Google Pixel Fold - Add / Edit / Delete a Contact

Here's how to add, edit or remove a contact entry on your Pixel Fold.
Expand All
  1. Open the
    Contacts app
     Contacts icon.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • To add a contact, tap the
      Add icon
       Add contact.
    • To edit an existing contact, select the desired contact then tap the
      Edit icon
       Edit icon.
  3. Enter or edit any of the info fields (e.g., Name, Phone, Email, etc.) then tap
    Save
    .
    To add a pause (a 2-second delay between numbers) or wait, tap
    *#
    , tap 'Pause (,)' or 'Wait (;)' then tap the
    Enter icon
     Enter icon.
    Tap
    More fields
     for additional options.
  1. Open the
    Contacts app
     Contacts icon.
  2. Select the desired contact.
  3. Tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon then tap
    Delete
    .
  4. Tap
    Move to Trash
     to confirm.
    The contact is moved to the trash and deleted permanently after 30 days, or contacts can be deleted from the trash manually:
    1. Tap
      Fix & manage
      .
    2. Tap
      Trash
      .
    3. Do one of the following:
      • To delete individual contact(s) from the trash:
        1. Touch and hold the desired contact(s) to delete.
        2. Tap the
          Menu icon
           Menu icon then tap
          Delete forever
          .
        3. Tap
          Delete forever
           to confirm.
      • To delete all contacts from the trash:
        1. Tap
          Empty Trash now
          .
        2. Tap
          Delete forever
           to confirm.
