Google Pixel Fold - Add / Remove Fingerprint Recognition

Here's how to set up and manage fingerprint recognition to unlock your Pixel Fold.
For the fingerprint scanner to operate, hands must be clean and moisture-free.
  2. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  3. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Security & privacy
    Device unlock
    Fingerprint & Face Unlock
    .
  4. Enter the current PIN, password, or pattern.
  5. If presented, select a lock screen option (e.g., pattern, PIN, password) then follow the steps to complete the process.
  6. Tap
    Fingerprint Unlock
    .
  7. Perform one of the following:
    • First Time Setup
      1. Review the message then tap
        I agree
        .
      2. To continue tap
        Start
        .
      3. Using on-screen prompts as a guide, lightly tap the
        fingerprint sensor
         on the screen of your device multiple times to scan your fingerprint.
      4. Tap
        Done
        .
    • Add More Fingerprints
      1. Tap
        Add fingerprint
        .
        Up to 5 fingerprints can be registered on the device.
      2. Using on-screen prompts as a guide, lightly tap the
        fingerprint sensor
         on the screen of your device multiple times to scan your fingerprint.
      3. Tap 'Done' if finished or 'Add fingerprint' to continue adding fingerprints.
    • Remove Fingerprint(s)
      1. Tap the
        Delete icon
         Delete icon to the far right of the fingerprint you wish to remove.
      2. Tap
        Delete
