Manage Hotspot SettingsTurn on the hotspot feature for your TCL 50 LE to share mobile data with other devices. Set up the network name, password and security type to enhance security.
Steps
- Open theSettings app.
- Navigate: .
- TapSet up Mobile Hotspot.
- From the Setup Mobile Hotspot screen, configure the following as needed:
- Network name
- Hide my device
- Security (e.g., None, WPA2-Personal, etc.)
- Password
- Tap the Password field to remove the existing password.
- TapSave.
- Show password
- AP Band (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz)
- Maximum connections (e.g., 1 user, 8 users, etc.)
- From the Connected users section, tapBlocknext to the device you want to disconnect.To remove the block, tapUnblocknext to the preferred device under the Blocked users section.
- TapTimeout settingsthen select a preferred option (e.g., Never, 5 minutes, etc.).
- TapSave.
