Restart in Safe Mode

Restarting your TCL 50 LE in Safe Mode puts it into a diagnostic state that only runs system apps so you can determine if a third-party app is causing freezing or slowness.

Before you begin

An alternate method is available if the device is unresponsive or won't power on.

Steps

  1. Press and hold the
    Volume up
     and
    Power
     buttons on the right edge of the device until the Power off menu displays then release.
  2. Touch and hold
    Power off
    .
  3. From the Restart in safe mode prompt, tap
    Turn On Safe Mode
    .
  4. Upon reboot, Safe mode appears in the lower left of the screen.
  6. To exit Safe mode, restart your device.
