Add a Personal / Corporate Email Account

Follow these instructions to configure IMAP, POP3 or Exchange® account settings for an email address on your TCL TAB 10 NXTPAPER 5G that's not serviced by Gmail™.

Before you begin

If you need assistance setting up a corporate email account, contact your Exchange / IT admin.

Add a Personal Email Account

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Accounts
    Add Account
    .
  3. Tap
    Personal (IMAP)
     or
    Personal (POP3)
    .
  4. Enter the email address then tap
    Next
    .
  5. Enter the password then tap
    Next
    .
  6. If presented, enter the applicable info (e.g., Username, Password, Server, SMTP server, port, security type, etc.) then tap the
    Next
    .
  7. To continue, review the permissions you'll allow the Gmail app to access then tap
    Agree
    .
  8. Configure the account sync frequency options then tap
    Next
    .
  9. Enter an account name if desired then tap the
    Next
    .

Add a Corporate Email Account

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Accounts
    Add Account
    .
  3. Tap
    Exchange
    .
  4. Enter your corporate email address, then tap
    Next
    .
  5. Enter your password then tap
    Next
    .
  6. If setup is unsuccessful, tap
    Set up manually
     then if needed, engage your Exchange / IT admin for additional support on:
    • Email address
    • Server address
    • Domain
    • Port number
    • Username
    • Password
    • Activate device administration
    • Sync options (e.g., Email, Contacts, Calendar)
