Manage Do Not Disturb Settings

Do Not Disturb (DND) silences messages and alerts, letting only urgent ones through. If your TCL TAB 10 NXTPAPER 5G isn't receiving alerts or messages, check settings or disable DND.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Sound & vibration
    Do Not Disturb
    .
  3. Tap the
    Turn on now switch
     to turn on or off.
  4. Alternatively, tap the
    switch
     to the right of the preferred schedule(s) to turn on or off.
    To create a new schedule, tap
    Add more schedules
     then configure as preferred.
    To edit an existing schedule, tap the schedule name (e.g., Sleeping).
  5. To delete a schedule:
    1. Tap the schedule name.
    2. Tap the
      Trash icon
      .
    3. To confirm, tap
      Delete
      .
  6. Do any of the following to manage exceptions:
    • Tap
      Calls
       then select an option (e.g., From anyone, From contacts only, etc.).
    • Tap
      Messages
       then select an option (e.g., From anyone, From contacts only, etc.).
    • Tap the
      Repeat callers switch
       to turn off or on.
    • Tap the
      Alarms switch
       to turn off or on.
