TCL FLIP 3 - Enable / Disable / Modify SIM PIN

Here's how to change, enable or disable the SIM card lock code on your Flip 3.

Enabling the SIM PIN locks the SIM card in your device so it can't be used until the correct code is entered.

If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, refer to the following to obtain a new PIN Unblocking Key (PUK):

Standard service
: obtain the PUK via the My Verizon website.

Prepaid service
: contact customer service to obtain the PUK.

From the main screen, press the

OK button

Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the OK button to select.

Select

Settings

From the Privacy & Security tab, select

SIM Security

Select

SIM PIN

Select an option:

Off

Enter the SIM Unlock code then select

Done

The default SIM PIN is 1111.

To change your SIM PIN, ensure the SIM PIN is on then do the following:

Change SIM PIN

Enter the current SIM PIN.

From the 'Create PIN' section, enter the new SIM PIN.

From the 'Confirm new PIN' section, re-enter the new SIM PIN.

Done
