TCL FLIP 3 - Manage Hotspot Settings

Here's how to configure the hotspot settings (e.g., password, network name, etc.) on your FLIP 3.
  1. From the main screen, press the
    OK button
    .
    Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the OK button to select.

  2. Select
    Settings
    .
  3. From the Network & Connectivity tab, select
    Mobile Hotspot & USB Tethering
    .
  4. Select
    Setup Mobile Hotspot
    .
  5. From the Setup Mobile Hotspot screen, configure the following as needed:
    • SSID or network name
    • Broadcast network name (SSID)
      Enabled when a checkmark is present.
    • Security (e.g., Open, WPA, etc.)
    • Password
      1. Highlight the Password field then remove the existing password.
      2. Enter the password then press
        OK
        .
    • Show password
    • Maximum connections
      Select then choose user limit.
  6. Press the
    right soft key
     soft key to choose
    Save
    .
