If you use two phone numbers on your Orbic smartphone, renaming the SIM or eSIM helps ensure you select the correct line for calls, texts, and mobile data without confusion.

Before you begin

To see the eSIM options, the Orbic® device must be running the current software version.
You can send SMS / MMS messages using either mobile number. To change the overall default number, refer to Change Default Mobile Number.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Messages app
    .
  2. From the Inbox, tap
    Start chat
    .
  3. From the To field, enter a 10-digit mobile number or a contact name.
  4. Tap the
    Change SIM icon
     then select the appropriate SIM.
  5. Enter the desired message then tap the
    Send icon
     when ready to send.
