Activate / Set Up DeviceEnjoy a seamless home internet connection for streaming and working. Easily connect your computer or smartphone after you activate and set up your new Verizon Router.
Before you begin

- Power adapter
- Ethernet cable
Steps
- Remove the router from the box.
- Place the router on a stable surface near a window.
- Connect the router to the internet gateway by plugging the Ethernet cable into the WAN port.
- Connect the power adapter to the router and plug it into a power outlet.The router's blinking white light means it’s starting up. The light may fluctuate between red and white for up to 5 minutes; don’t unplug the router. Use the Verizon Home app for support.
- Check for a solid white light on the router.It can take up to 5 minutes to appear. Once the router shows a solid white, setup is complete.
- Connect your devices to your new Wi-Fi network.Use the Wi-Fi name and password printed on the back of the Gateway to connect your devices. Or scan the QR code printed there to connect automatically. You can edit your Wi-Fi name and password in the Verizon Home app.
- Open a web browser on the device connected to your Verizon Router network.
- In the browser address field (URL), enter: mynetworksettings.com, then press theEnter.Alternately, you can enter: https://192.168.1.1 into the URL field.
- Activate your router by opening a web browser on your computer and following the prompts.
