Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ 5G Kids Edition - Enable / Disable / Modify Screen Lock

Here's how to set up, change or turn off the screen lock option (e.g., password, pattern, etc.) for your Galaxy Tab A9+ 5G Kids Edition.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Lock screen
    Screen lock type
    .
    If presented, enter the current PIN password or pattern.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Set up Pattern:
      1. Tap
        Pattern
        .
      2. Draw an unlock pattern that connects at least 4 dots then tap
        Continue
        .
      3. Draw the same pattern again then tap
        Confirm
        .
      4. If prompted, configure your notification options as preferred.
      5. If prompted to back up your pattern, tap 'Agree' or 'Cancel'.
    • Set up PIN:
      1. Tap
        PIN
        .
      2. Enter a numeric PIN that's 4 to 16 digits then tap
        Continue
        .
      3. Re-enter the numeric PIN then tap
        OK
        .
      4. If prompted, configure your notification options as preferred.
      5. If prompted to back up your PIN, tap 'Agree' or 'Cancel'.
    • Set up Password:
      1. Tap
        Password
        .
      2. Enter a password that's at least 4 characters and includes at least one letter then tap
        Continue
        .
      3. Re-enter the password then tap
        OK
        .
      4. If prompted, configure your notification options as preferred.
      5. If prompted to back up your password, tap 'Agree' or 'Cancel'.
    • Disable Screen Lock:
      1. Tap 'None' or 'Swipe'.
      2. If prompted, tap
        Remove Data
         then tap
        Remove
         to confirm.
