Verizon Family Roadside Assistance - Request Towing Services
Here's how to request towing assistance using Roadside Assistance in the Verizon Family app.
- From the Home Screen Map in the Family app, tap the+ icon.
- TapRoadside Assistance.
- TapStart a request.
- Tap the vehicle needing assistance.If the vehicle isn't listed, tapAdd a new vehicle.
- TapTowing.
- Provide the vehicle location by either moving the pin on the map or entering the address then tapConfirm.
- Select where you would like your vehicle to be towed from the list of providers.The towing destination must be within 10 miles.
- Enter the name, phone number and email address of the driver needing the service.The driver can be different from the person requesting service.
- Tap (check) the box to receive status text messages about your request sent to the phone number you’ve provided.The requestor is also automatically sent in-app push notifications.
- TapSubmit request.If being towed, you'll also need to select a towing destination.
