Verizon Family Roadside Assistance - Request Towing Services

Here's how to request towing assistance using Roadside Assistance in the Verizon Family app.
  1. From the Home Screen Map in the Family app, tap the
    + icon
    .
  2. Tap
    Roadside Assistance
    .
  3. Tap
    Start a request
    .
  4. Tap the vehicle needing assistance.
    If the vehicle isn't listed, tap
    Add a new vehicle
    .
  5. Tap
    Towing
    .
  6. Provide the vehicle location by either moving the pin on the map or entering the address then tap
    Confirm
    .
  7. Select where you would like your vehicle to be towed from the list of providers.
    The towing destination must be within 10 miles.
  8. Enter the name, phone number and email address of the driver needing the service.
    The driver can be different from the person requesting service.
  9. Tap (check) the box to receive status text messages about your request sent to the phone number you’ve provided.
    The requestor is also automatically sent in-app push notifications.
  10. Tap
    Submit request
    .
    If being towed, you'll also need to select a towing destination.
