Add or Bulk Import Passwords to Your ManagerSaving passwords to a manager ensures strong, unique credentials for every site. It prevents data breaches, eliminates the need to memorize logins and offers instant, secure access.
Before you begin
Secure VPN isn't compatible with Mac® computers and requires a Digital Secure Premium subscription.
Generating a new password does not sync with the service provider. You must manually update your login credentials on the account’s website.
To easily enter username and password credentials, ensure autofill is turned on.
Add Individual Password
- Open theVerizon Protect app.
- Navigate: .
- Select the Passwords tab then tapAdd Password.
- Enter a Nickname for the account (optional) and the account info then tapSave.
- To allow Digital Footprint Manager to generate a password:
- TapGenerate strong password.
- Review the suggested password then tapSave password.
- From the account details screen, tapSave.
- Review the message stating the password entered must match the password on the company website then tapOkay.
Bulk Import Passwords
- Open theVerizon Protect app.
- Navigate: .
- Select the Passwords tab then tapImport Data.
- TapImport passwords & data.
- TapBrowsethen navigate to and select the File source.
- If required, enter the file’s password then tapImport.
- TapContinue.If you continue, existing passwords will be replaced with imported ones.
- Review the import summary, then tapFinish.
