Turning on data lets your moto g - 2025 access online services over the Verizon network, while turning it off will impact that experience unless connected to Wi-Fi.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Network & internet
    .
  3. Do any of the following:
    • To turn data on / off:
      1. Tap the
        Mobile data switch
         to turn or off.
      2. If prompted, tap
        OK
         to confirm.
    • To allow / deny data roaming:
      Depending on your plan, enabling data roaming may cause roaming charges (e.g., when traveling internationally).
      1. Tap
        SIMs & mobile network
         then select the SIM card name (i.e., Verizon).
      2. Tap the
        International Data Roaming switch
         to turn on or off.
      3. If prompted to allow data roaming, tap
        OK
         if you agree.
