Enabling a SIM PIN provides extra security to your Galaxy S25 FE, helping to prevent unauthorized use and protect your personal info if your device is misplaced or stolen.

Before you begin

If using a physical SIM, ensure a 5G SIM card is properly inserted.
Enabling the SIM PIN locks the SIM card in your device so it can't be used until the correct code is entered.
If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, refer to the following to get a new PIN Unblocking Key (PUK):

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Security and privacy
    More security settings
    SIM card security
    .
  3. Tap the
    Lock SIM card switch
     to turn on or off.
  4. Enter the SIM PIN then tap
    OK
    .
    The default SIM PIN is 1111.
  5. To change your SIM PIN, ensure the 'Lock SIM card' switch is turned on, tap
    Change SIM card PIN
     then follow the onscreen prompts.
