Create / Manage Automated Receptionist Submenus

With the Automated Receptionist feature for One Talk, you can add layers to your call routing experience by creating sub-levels within your primary call routing menu.

Steps

  1. Sign in to My Business.
  2. Click
    Manage Account
    from the top navigation bar.
  3. From the Product Portals section, click
    One Talk
    .
  4. Click
    Manage features
    .
  5. From the Business Features tab, click
    Automated Receptionist
    .
  6. From the Manage Automated Receptionist page, click Create/Edit on the line with the standard Auto Receptionist where you want to add a submenu.
  7. Do any of the following:
    • To create a new submenu:
      1. From the Manage Automated Receptionist Submenu page, click
        Create A Submenu
        .
      2. Configure the name, greeting and call routing actions the same way as the main Auto Receptionist menu.
      3. Click
        Save
        .
      4. Continue to the instructions below for assigning the new submenu to a key.
    • To assign a submenu to a key in the main menu:
      1. Go back to the main detail page for your standard Auto Receptionist.
      2. From the Setup Automated Receptionist section, choose a key to access the submenu (e.g., Press 2 for Spanish, etc.).
      3. From the Call Routing dropdown, select
        Transfer to submenu
        .
      4. From the Transfer to column, select the submenu.
      5. Click
        Save
        .
    • To view and/or manage existing submenus:
      1. From the Manage Automated Receptionist Submenu page, do any of the following:
        • Edit
          : Click the name of any submenu to open its settings and make changes.
        • View Assignment
          : Shows where the submenu is being used. Helpful for keeping track of complex call flows.
        • Download PDF
          : Get a PDF summary of an individual submenu's configuration.
