Enable / Disable / Modify SIM PIN - Verizon Jetpack® 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot MiFi® 4620L

Here's how to change the SIM PIN for your Verizon Jetpack - MiFi 4620L or turn it on or off.
  • Enabling the SIM PIN locks the SIM card in your device so it can't be used until the correct code is entered.
  • If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, refer to My Verizon Website - Locate the SIM PIN / PUK to obtain a new PIN Unblocking Key (PUK).
  2. From the Network tab, click
    SIM
    .
  3. Do any of the following:
    • Turn SIM PIN On / Off
      1. From the SIM Operation field, select Lock SIM or Unlock SIM.
      2. In the Current PIN field, enter the current SIM PIN then select
        Apply
        .
        The default SIM PIN is 1111.
        If the SIM has previously been blocked and subsequently reset using the PIN Unblocking Key (PUK), the default SIM PIN is 0000.
    • Modify SIM PIN
      1. From the SIM Operation field, select
        Change PIN
        .
      2. Enter the current PIN and new PIN into the appropriate fields then select
        Apply
        .
