Verizon Jetpack 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot MiFi 5510L - Activate / Set Up Device

Activate your Verizon Jetpack® 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot MiFi® 5510L to get started. This ensures your Wi-Fi capable devices can connect to the internet from your hotspot.
  1. Make sure a SIM card is inserted into the device before powering on.
  2. Insert the battery and make sure it's fully charged.
  3. Press and hold the
    Power button
     until the device begins to power on.
    Activation is performed automatically and may take several minutes to complete.
  4. From the Welcome screen, navigate:
    Next
    Next
    Close
     to reach the Home screen.
    Use the Scroll buttons to highlight and the Select button to select.
  5. Establish a Wi-Fi network connection between a device and the mobile hotspot.
    The Wi-Fi name and password can be obtained via the external screen on the MiFi device.
    Select the applicable operating system for assistance (Mac® OS X, Windows® 11).
  6. To test the connection, open a web browser then navigate to a website.
