  • Do I have to change my inside TV wiring in order for Fios to work?

  • Not necessarily. Verizon will test your existing coaxial cable in your home for quality signal strength, and in most cases we will be able to utilize the existing wiring.

  • I need wiring to run through my home, do I need to have Verizon do that?

  • While Verizon offers a professional installation for inside jacks and wiring, you have the option to do it yourself or hire a contractor. If you choose to have someone else complete the inside wiring, have it done prior to your installation so you can start enjoying the service once activated.

  • I live in an apartment complex, where would the equipment be installed?

  • Fios equipment may be installed in a central equipment room. You’ll need to ensure that the Verizon Technician is able to have access.
