Changing the LAN settings
  1. The modem will now reset itself. Once it resets, the modem will take you back to the main menu. Click Main if the Main page doesn't display automatically.


  2. Click My Network. [Show Me]


  3. Click Network Connections in the left navigation panel. [Show Me]


  4. Click LAN.


  5. LAN

  6. Remove the check from the Private LAN DHCP Server Enable box and click Apply.


  7. Private LAN DHCP Server Enable

  8. Your Westell 6100 modem is now in Bridge Mode. Close the Westell 6100 configuration window.


  9. The last step before you're ready to connect your third-party router is to terminate any active TCP/IP connections on your network.
